Dean of Jersey buries man found on beach
The body of a man found on a Jersey beach has been buried at a funeral service led by the Dean of Jersey.
The remains, found nearly four years ago at Havre des Pas, were buried in St Helier earlier.
States of Jersey police were not able to identify him despite a worldwide appeal using a computer-generated image of what he may have looked like.
An inquest held in Jersey was unable to find who the man was, where, when or how he died.
The Very Reverend Bob Key led the burial service at Surville Cemetery.
