Jersey motorists warned to use headlights on island

Motorists in Jersey have been warned to use their headlights while driving during the twilight hours.

States of Jersey Police said it had received numerous calls from residents concerned that some motorists were not using lights when it was dark.

The force said if visibility was not clear, headlights should be used.

Philip Blake said "They [drivers] may be satisfied that they can see but it's better to be safe and have the lights on, than to be sorry."
