Jersey drug raids see three arrested

Thousands of pounds worth of cannabis and cannabis plants have been seized by police in Jersey.

Three men have been arrested after officers carried out early morning raids at private homes in St Helier and St Saviour.

A drugs dog joined the three teams of police and honorary officers when they raided the homes at 06:30 BST.

Officers said about 15 cannabis plants were found and some was ready for sale on Jersey's streets.

Acting Detective Inspector Craig Jackson said the suspects would now be interviewed before being handed over to the courts.
