Jersey court jail dealer with £1m of cannabis

A man has been jailed for seven years for possessing and planning to supply cannabis resin worth up to £1m.

Oliver Samuel Hall, 26, was also sentenced to eight months in prison for an offence of dangerous driving by Jersey's Royal Court.

The two sentences will run concurrently and Hall will serve a two-year driving disqualification when he is released from prison.

During a search of his home 71kg (156lb) of cannabis resin was found.
