Darren McCormack remanded in Colin Chevalier murder

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Colin Chevalier, who was found dead in his flat.

Darren Neil McCormack, 35, did not enter a plea when he appeared at Jersey's Magistrates' Court wearing a blue and white t-shirt.

No application for bail was made and he was remanded in custody until 16 June when the case will be heard in the Royal Court.

Mr Chevalier, 46, was found dead in his Duhamel Place flat on Saturday night.
