Police crash officer out of hospital
A Jersey police officer injured when his patrol car crashed and overturned has been released from hospital.
The 38-year-old was taken to hospital early on Tuesday morning after the crash on La Grande Route de la Cote, police said.
No other vehicles were involved and there were no passengers in the car.
The officer was not responding to a 999 call and police are investigating the cause of the crash, which happened at about 05:30 BST.
Investigators closed the road between Ponterson Lane and Samares Lane for several hours.
The force said once the investigation was complete a file would be sent to the attorney general who would make a decision on whether any offences had taken place.
