Two charged over Jersey drugs offences

Two men have been charged in connection with importing drugs into Jersey.

Nearly a kilogram of what police said were "new psychoactive substances" were found in a raid.

A 21-year-old man from Jersey and a 25-year-old man originally from Liverpool are due to appear in court on Monday.

The arrests followed a joint operation by the States of Jersey Police and Jersey Customs and Immigration Service. Three others who were arrested have since been released on police bail.
