Adrian Lynch's body released as inquest opens
An inquest into the death of Adrian Lynch, who was found in a reservoir, has been opened and adjourned.
The 20-year-old's body was discovered in the Handois Reservoir, in St Lawrence, Jersey, on 4 August. He had been missing since December.
The hearing heard the body was identified through DNA and dental records.
His body has been released to his family for funeral arrangements to be made.
Mr Lynch's disappearance sparked a massive search operation that included the use of drones, divers, sonar and cadaver dogs.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Adrian is being held at St Helier Methodist Centre on Friday from 14:30 BST.
