Around 500 clowns gathered for a convention in Mexico City have held a rally for peace - and to deny any involvement in the killing of a former drug lord.

Francisco Rafael Arellano Felix, 63, was killed in a beach resort in Baja California in north-western Mexico last Friday by gunmen dressed as clowns.

Emily Thomas reports.
