Teachers pull tuk tuk in Peru, on world record bid

23 November 2013 Last updated at 12:48 GMT

Two British teachers had to drag their motorised rickshaw through Peru, after it broke down during a world record attempt.

Richard Sears and Nick Gough left London in August to try and see if they could make it around the world in their tuk tuk.

But they ran into difficulty when the vehicle broke down near Lima.

Claire Brennan reports.
