Slave descendants locked in land dispute with Brazil Navy

A community in Brazil is locked in a tense dispute over land with the Brazilian military.

The group, which is descended from slaves, says it has a constitutional right to land they have historically occupied. But the military built a base on the land in the 1950s and also claims ownership.
