Deadly secret of Egypt's leaning tower blocks

Help

Egypt's crumbling tower blocks have been placed in the spotlight following the deaths of nearly 30 people in Alexandria.

The city is notorious for its shoddy construction work, with around twenty buildings collapsing each year.

Twenty-eight people died in the latest incident, when an eight-storey apartment block collapsed.

Aleem Maqbool reports.
