The Afghan painter turning dust into money
Mohammed Akram, a part-time Afghan artist in Herat, says he prefers to make and use his own paints from dust, mud and bricks, rather than buying more expensive, commercial paint.
His way of working is paying off - he has already had exhibitions around the world and has even sold one of his paintings to the US embassy in Kabul for over $1000.
