Obama reaffirms support for Israel on his first trip as president

US President Barack Obama has arrived in Israel on his first visit since he came to power four years ago.

He is there for talks with the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. They are expected to discuss Iran's nuclear programme, the conflict in Syria and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

President Obama will also meet Palestinian leaders during the three-day trip.
