On the next stage of his trip to the Middle East, US President Barack Obama will head to the West Bank for talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

When he was elected, some Palestinians had hoped Mr Obama might bring a shift in US policy and a move away from decades of unwavering US support for Israel.

People in Ramallah tell the BBC's Jon Donnison how they think the president has performed in the years since his election.
