Syria: Kerry says support for US strike is growing

US Secretary of State John Kerry has travelled to France to drum up support for a US military strike against President Bashar al-Assad's forces in Syria.

Speaking in Paris, he said the world could not be "silent spectators to slaughter" after last month's chemical attack on the outskirts of Damascus.
