Struggle for Iraq: Displaced Iraqis return to Mosul

Parliament in Baghdad has delayed voting on a request to grant the prime minister emergency powers as the north of Iraq slips out of government control.
In the north, Kurdish forces claimed control of the oil city of Kirkuk, saying government forces had fled. The Kurds secured the area after the cities of Mosul and Tikrit fell to Sunni Islamist insurgents in recent days.
The BBC's Rami Ruhayem went to the edge of Kurdish territory and said that some people appeared to be heading back to Mosul. He explained that they did not fear the militants, but had been concerned about a potential assault by government troops.
