'China carried out cyber attacks on Google'

Help

Documents released by the Wikileaks website have suggested that senior members of the Chinese government co-ordinated cyber attacks on the search engine, Google.

The claims, which also say Beijing recruited a network of hackers to access secret US government and military information, have been published in The Observer newspaper.

China has called accusations that it had been involved in hacking "absurd".

The BBC's Emily Buchanan reports.
