As the results flood in from the US presidential election, the BBC has its graphics teams on standby to present all the key statistics from what is being dubbed the "White House situation room".

Ahead of the event, the BBC's Jeremy Vine been analysing the 2008 results and examining where Mitt Romney will have to swing the vote if he is to oust President Obama.
