Help

Increased security is in place at schools in Newtown, in the US state of Connecticut, where some children have returned to lessons for the first time since Friday's massacre.

The junior school where a gunman killed 20 children and six adults remains closed.

More funerals and remembrance services for those who died are due to take place.

Ruth Calver, a pastor at Walnut Hill Community Church, comforted anxious relatives waiting for news of love ones.

She told BBC News that she would never forget the anguish of mothers and fathers around her.
