But speaking at a comic convention in San Diego, California, Mr Snyder said the script was still being written.

Production is expected to begin next year and the film is scheduled for release in the summer of 2015.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-( EPIC sad face. I don't even understand how anyone could even contemplate doing Batman again for the next 10 years after Nolan's amazing trilogy. DC: stop it. Stop trying to be like Marvel. I'm going to have to avoid all media attention on this movie **pretending this is not happening**

Surely Batman would feel redundant after all Superman is Superman being virtually invincible, faster, stronger, doesn't need to fill his batmobile with regular unleaded or use a utility belt he'd get the job done in a fraction of time although he did spend inordinate amounts of time romancing Lois Lane, but Batman had a taste for the ladies as well. No, not a good team up really just doesnt work.

"They're both alpha males...." If they are to work effectively as a team then one has to take the lead. Obviously, Superman thinks he's the natural choice for leader and if it was decided by a test of strength then he'd get it. However, Batman has the grit determination and the smarts to bring out the 'Clark Kent' in Superman and put him in his place.

As soon as I heard the news for this film I was excited, though concerned.
    Been a D.C. fan since a kid.
Like most of us we have read the books / story's. So automatically we start to speculate.
I'm sure they have a great idea.

I will get a lot of hate for this, but maybe it's a sign of time, a sign that these old storylines have served out now that they are converging to keep themselves afloat. the new world needs new heroes and new stories
