Washington mayor Vincent Gray has said that there is no reason to suspect terrorism in the shooting at a naval installation in Washington DC in which 12 people were killed.

The FBI have named the gunman, who was killed at the scene of the rampage, as Aaron Alexis.

Police were initially searching for two additional "potential" gunman, but Mr Gray said one has since been ruled out.
