President Barack Obama on Iran: 'A basis for resolution'

US President Barack Obama has spoken by phone to Iran's Hassan Rouhani - the first such top-level conversation in more than 30 years.

After the call, Mr Obama said both sides wanted to resolve the dispute over Tehran's nuclear programme.
