Former Las Vegas mobster gives crime scene tours

2 April 2014 Last updated at 14:12 BST

A former Las Vegas mob hitman has started showing tourists around his old gang haunts.

Frank Cullotta, whose gang inspired 1995 film "Casino", runs five-hour bus tours to former murder scenes and casino scams.

The 75-year-old, who "controlled Las Vegas" on behalf of the Chicago Outfit mob, said he wanted to show visitors the reality of life as a mobster.

He told BBC Radio 5 live's Up All Night: "I try to explain to them that it's not that glorifying as one would think, that Hollywood makes it."
