Michigan thunderstorms wreak havoc for residents

Communities in the midwestern US state of Michigan are recovering from a series of strong thunderstorms which blew through parts of the state on Saturday night.

Homes and cars were destroyed and tens of thousands of people in eight counties were left without power.

Despite the damage, there are no reports of deaths or serious injuries.
