11 August 2014 Last updated at 14:54 BST

Fire-fighters have rescued more than 20 people who were stuck on a rollercoaster in the US state of Maryland.

The ride ground to a halt leaving the passengers stranded 14 metres up in the air at the Six Flags adventure park.

No injuries have been reported but park workers sheltered the riders with umbrellas to give them some relief from the blistering sun.

Aaron Soma reports.
