Eurovision hopeful Bonnie Tyler rates Swedish things

Welsh pop star Bonnie Tyler is representing the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden.

She'll perform 'Believe in Me' on Saturday, for an estimated TV audience of 120 million viewers.

The 61-year-old singer is best known for her 1983 hit 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'.

Before she jetted off to Malmo, where the contest is taking place, Newsround's Ricky put her to the test on all things Swedish!

"We've got a chance"

Bonnie says she has high hopes for the UK's song this year.

"We've got a chance with this song - it's written by a world class songwriter," she added. "I know there are some other good songs, but hopefully we'll do better than last year."

The UK entry, sung by Engelbert Humperdinck, finished a disappointing second bottom with just 12 points in 2012.
