In BBC Radio 4's The Archers Rosalind Adams plays Clarrie Grundy who, somewhat unfortunately, is the full-time wife and part-time slave of Eddie, as well as being the mother of the oft-feuding sons, Will and Ed.
Having studied piano at the Royal College of Music, Rosalind began her radio drama career in Waggoner's Walk (BBC Radio 2) in which she played the flatmate of the character played by Patricia Gallimore (Pat Archer in The Archers).
In the theatre, Rosalind created the character of Annie for Alan Ayckbourn in The Norman Conquests at Scarborough and in 2004 appeared in Stepping Out, in Stoke, in which she played Glenda, the grumpy pianist.
Her most recent audio work (2006) includes the part of The White Queen in a new Naxos production of Alice Through The Looking-Glass.
