What BBC stations can I receive on DAB?
In 2002 the BBC launched five new national digital-only radio services: 6 Music, 1Xtra, BBC 7, Asian Network, and 5 live sports extra. Between them, these stations cover rock, pop & urban music, new & classic comedy, plays, books and children's programmes, Asian music and speech and additional sports commentary.
The BBC's established favourites - Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4 and Radio 5 live are also available on DAB, as is the World Service. Additionally, most of the BBC's local radio services are now also on DAB.
To find out which services you can receive in your area, enter your postcode into the DAB reception checker on the BBC digital radio website .
