How to contact a programme, comment on a programme or make a programme request

Every programme has a contact us section on the programme page which links through to a form. Use the form to make comments, requests and ask for information. Here's a list of all Radio 3 programmes.

The length of time programmes are available on line following broadcast

The majority of Radio 3's programmes are available online for 7 days following transmission on the iPlayer.  The major exception is Opera for which there are no 7 day rights at present.  To access the iPlayer select the 'iPlayer' link in the right hand navigation on every page.

How to find programme pages on the Radio 3 web site

Most programmes are listed on the Programmes Index Page.  Otherwise go to the Schedule Page and select the programme title link

What is the Radio 3 policy on supplying transcripts and recordings of programmes

Most programmes do not offer transcripts. However, increasingly, programme details and, occasionally, whole programmes are kept on the web site. Try going to the Programmes Index Page and selecting the programme you want.

You can only usually get a copy of a programme if it's commercially available. Otherwise, we're sorry but we can't provide it for you. Copyright and contractual agreements only cover broadcasts - the duplication or distribution of tapes and other material has to be negotiated separately so we do this for commercial release. If you are a major contributor to a programme please contact your production team directly.

You can often view or listen to a programme by contacting the National Sound Archive. Their material is not for sale, hire or loan but you may be able to arrange viewing or listening for research or study purposes (you may have to pay a small fee). How to book tickets for Radio 3 broadcasts and events

Find out what tickets are available and how to apply by visiting BBC Audience Services.

Not all tickets, particularly for shows outside London, are handled by BBC Audience Services. For details of other tickets, look out for announcements on air and locally.

How to find out which piece was played on which programme

All Radio 3 programmes publish playlists which detail the musical contents of the programme.  To access the playlist, find the web page for the programme via the Schedule Page or Programme Index  page. Playlists are available in advance of broadcast or soon after broadcast.

How to identify a piece of music that you heard

The Radio 3 schedule page is ordered by day and time. So work out when you heard the piece, select the programme page from the day list and search the playlist.
