The majority of Radio 3's programmes are available online for 7 days following transmission on the iPlayer.  The major exception is Opera for which there are no 7 day rights at present.  To access the iPlayer select the 'iPlayer' link in the right hand navigation on every page.

Why listeners are unable to search for programmes in the Radio 3 schedule more than one week in advance

It is imperative that BBC listings information is accurate. Because, with live networks, programme plans change often at the last minute, it is not thought prudent to offer information further ahead than the published listings.

Even then, things can and do change. You can imagine the chaos if inaccurate programme information was leaking out because of publication in 'tentative' schedules.

However, you can find out a great deal about Radio 3's future plans by browsing the 'Coming Up' sections in the programme pages.

Why the Through the Night playlist sometimes differs from that which was actually broadcast

It's a result of the way the schedule is presented. For Radio 3, Through the Night is the last programme of the day, but it stretches forward till 7am UK time the next day.

However, the BBC website schedule servers for all networks update at midnight, so from then on the website will be showing the TTN schedule for the next day. We are working on a solution to this problem.

How to download ‘Flash’ player

Go to the Adobe website to download Flash.  Flash is the application that's used to display the constantlly updated text in the right hand navigation of all the top level Radio 3 pages.
