Digital radio stations broadcast on all the digital TV platforms – through an aerial, satellite, cable and broadband – so if you have digital TV you can listen to them on your TV set.

For advice on digital TV reception problems, please see the Digital TV section.

Radio stations available

The stations available vary between the different platforms, but usually include all the BBC's national radio networks plus a range of commercial stations.

BBC stations for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are also available, but not BBC local radio services.

Through an aerial

Freeview (also available through Top Up TV Anytime and BT Vision) offers over 20 radio stations.
BBC stations for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are available in the relevant areas only.
Satellite

Freesat currently includes over 20 radio stations, with more being added each month.
Both Freesat from Sky and Sky subscription packages include over 80 radio stations.
All BBC regional stations are available throughout the UK.
You can also receive BBC national radio stations with non-Sky satellite equipment.
Cable and broadband

Most cable and broadband packages include radio stations.
