T20 Blast: Glamorgan will be underdogs - Jacques Rudolph

T20 Blast: Surrey v Glamorgan

Venue: The Oval Date: 11 July Start: 18:30

Glamorgan's South African batsman Jacques Rudolph hopes his side can turn the tables on Surrey in the T20 Blast.

Surrey beat Glamorgan by nine wickets in a County Championship game at Colwyn Bay this week having also beaten them in the T20 Blast in June.

Rudolph acknowledges Surrey will be favourites on Friday, but Glamorgan are capable of winning at the Oval.

"We'll possibly go as the underdogs - they've got quite a good team," Rudolph said.

"They're a good team, we've got to respect them for that, but we've got a capable squad of beating them and hopefully we can do that."

Glamorgan are fourth in the T20 Blast's South Group and have three games remaining against Surrey, Sussex and Essex.

"Going into these last couple of games you've got to try and win as many as possible to make it easier going into the quarters," Rudolph added.

"We've played really well up until now. I think the one thing we possibly have lacked is maybe a little bit of consistency.

"But I do think we have a very capable squad and we have someone like Jim Allenby who's possibly in the form of his life.

"I think it would be really nice if we can go down on Friday and get a win."
