Crawley sign Matt Sparrow and agree deal for James Spencer
Crawley Town have completed the signing of Matt Sparrow after the midfielder had his contract at Brighton & Hove Albion terminated by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old, who had not featured for the Seagulls this season, has agreed a six-month deal.
Meanwhile, the Reds have agreed a deal to sign Huddersfield's James Spencer on loan until the end of the season.
The striker, 21, made two appearances for Brentford earlier in the campaign and will join on 18 January.

“When it became clear Matt was looking to leave Brighton we were very keen to bring him to the club”
Sparrow joined Brighton in summer 2010 following more than a decade with Scunthorpe.
In total he scored eight goals in 58 appearances for the East Sussex club.
Manager Richie Barker told the club website: "Matt is vastly experienced at League One level and a proven performer.
"When it became clear that he was looking to leave Brighton we were very keen to bring him to the club.
"Jimmy is a player who has been on our radar for a while.
"He jarred his knee in training and won't be joining us until next Friday once he has made a full recovery.
"He's a good size physically, is quick and will give us options up front.
"We're looking forward to having him here and helping our push for the play-offs."
