York City have signed former futsal striker Ben Everson on a deal until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old, who used to play for
Middlesbrough Futsal Club,
moved to West Texas A&M University in the USA for a second time in 2010, reverting to 11-a-side football.
He then moved to Iceland with Tindastoll, and then Breidablik.
Subject to international clearance he could make his debut in Saturday's home match against Aldershot.
Boss Gary Mills told BBC Radio York: "He was someone who was recommended to me and he's done well while he's been training with us.
"I wanted to give him the opportunity to show us what he's made of."
