Tottenham 2-2 Basel: We must take positives - Brad Friedel
Tottenham goalkeeper says Spurs must "try to take positives" from their 2-2 draw with Basel at White Hart Lane in the Europa League quarter-final first leg.
The American says he "can't remember a team who have had as many chances" against Spurs this season - and the Swiss side struck twice in five first-half minutes, through Valentin Stocker and Fabian Frei, to leave the home side hanging on to their hopes of reaching the semi-finals.
Emmanuel Adebayor pulled one back with a volley before Gylfi Sigurdsson equalised with a deflected strike in the second half, but Gareth Bale was carried off in stoppage time with an ankle injury - Friedel says it is too early to assess the damage.
