James Keatings scored the only goal of the game as Hamilton claimed an away win at Raith Rovers on the opening day of the Scottish Championship season.

Calum Elliot threatened for the hosts when his right-footed effort was well saved by Kevin Cuthbert.

Hamilton's Alister Crawford fired just wide and then tested goalkeeper David McGurn with a free-kick.

In the second half, Darian MacKinnon sent a drive over Raith's crossbar before Keatings 's strike won it.
