Uwe Rosler: Wigan Athletic is the club that 'inspires' others
New Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler tells BBC Sport he is excited about joining a club that others see as an "inspiration" for success.
The 45-year-old German was appointed as Owen Coyle's replacement on Saturday, and took his first training session on Monday before facing the media for the first time since his arrival.
"I have a very good feeling about the place," the ex-Brentford boss said. "The club is in a good situation, there are good players here, financially the club is very stable and there is stable leadership here with Mr Whelan."
Wigan chairman Dave Whelan and chief executive Jonathan Jackson also talk about bringing in the former Manchester City striker.
