Newcastle 0-3 Sunderland: Black Cats hard to play against - Poyet

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet says his team's gradual improvement means they are now a tough side to play against, after they beat neighbours Newcastle 3-0 at St James's Park.

Fabio Borini gave the Black Cats the lead from the penalty spot, Adam Johnson doubled the advantage four minutes later, and Jack Colback completed the scoring in the second half.

The result gives Sunderland their third successive win over Newcastle, the first time they have achieved that feat since 1923.
