Irish Premiership: Crusaders 2-2 Glenavon

Richard Clarke's superb 30-yard drive in the 77th minute earned Crusaders a point against Glenavon at Seaview.

Unmarked striker Jordan Owens put the Crues in front on eight minutes after meeting Gary McCutcheon's flick-on from a throw-in.

On 25 minutes, Gareth McKeown got the final touch to Brian McCaul's inswinging wind-assisted corner.

David Rainey then fired home after 50 minutes following good work by Tiernan Mulvenna and Mark Patton.

Mulvenna found Patton, who drifted past a player before teeing up ex-Crues forward Rainey.

Andy Smith provided the assist for Clarke to level, while Patton and Guy Bates had late chances.

Crusaders remain third in the Premiership table, while Glenavon are sixth, one point ahead of Ballymena United, with two games in hand.
