Celtic Nation: The Northern League club with big ambitions

BBC Late Kick-Off North East & Cumbria visit Northern League leaders Celtic Nation, the Carlisle-based club backed by a millionaire Scot who only discovered them because he got lost in the border city.

Francis Lynch, credited for launching comedian Billy Connolly's television career, followed directions that incorrectly took him to the house of the father-in-law of club chairman Steve Skinner.

Two years ago, then called Gillford Park, a name change was implemented to attract the local Scottish and Irish population to matches. An unexpected bi-product has been the regular visits of several hundred fans from Glasgow giants Celtic, bussing their way down when the Bhoys do not have a home match.

You can watch Late Kick Off on BBC One at 23:20 GMT every Monday until 5 May, or catch up on the BBC iPlayer.
