Nigel Pearson: Leicester City target title after promotion
Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson tells BBC Radio Leicester that he wants his squad to secure the Championship title after winning promotion to the Premier League.
The Foxes were promoted to the top flight without playing after a combination of results in the Championship on Saturday went in their favour.
Pearson was not following the latest scores and says winning promotion courtesy of defeats for Queens Park Rangers and Derby County was "unexpected".
The 50-year-old believes Leicester are more than capable of remaining in the Premier League next season, but says their recruitment in the summer transfer window will be crucial.
