Everton 2-3 Man City: Roberto Martinez praises players

Everton boss Roberto Martinez says he is "proud" of his players for a "phenomenal" season despite losing their final home game 3-2 to Manchester City.

City's Sergio Aguero cancelled out Ross Barkley's stunning opener and the visitors then stormed ahead through an Edin Dzeko brace before Romelu Lukaku's header left them with an anxious last 25 minutes.

Everton now sit three points above sixth-placed Tottenham with a superior goal difference and are certain to finish fifth and claim a place in the Europa League.
