St Helens ended 2012 season positively - Jon Wilkin

Jon Wilkin tells BBC Radio Merseyside that St Helens can take heart from a positive end to the 2012 season.

A poor start cost coach Royce Simmons his job in March, and under the stewardship of Mike Rush and Keiron Cunningham, Saints recovered to finish third in Super League.

Although they were beaten in the play-off semi-finals by Warrington, Wilkin says there is cause for optimism as Nathan Brown prepares take charge at Langtree Park at the beginning of the 2013 campaign.
