Leeds Rhinos forward Brett Delaney has signed a new five-year deal with the Super League side.
The 28-year-old had been linked with a return to his native Australia but has now agreed a deal tying him to the Rhinos until 2018.
Delaney joined Leeds from Gold Coast Titans before the 2010 season
and has made 109 appearances for the club.
Coach Brian McDermott told the club website:
"Brett is a key member of our squad and coming into his best years."
Delaney, who is currently out with a knee injury, said: "I am very happy at the Rhinos and was happy to see out the remaining two years of my contract here and see where that took me.
"There was a lot of rubbish coming out of Australia saying that I was looking to move home but that was never my intention."
