Six Nations 2014: Ireland happy with Sexton fitness
Ireland assistant coach John Plumtree says injury-doubt Jonathan Sexton "looked really good" in training on Tuesday and that a final decision on his fitness will be taken on Thursday.
Sexton sustained thumb ligament damage in the defeat by England last month and his club Racing Metro said last week that the fly-half could be out of action for up to six weeks.
However, Plumtree said on Tuesday that discussions between the Racing Metro and Ireland medical outcome in recent days had led to a "positive outcome".
