Worcester prop Paul Andrew returns to Cornish Pirates
Cornish Pirates have re-signed former prop Paul Andrew from Worcester.
The 25-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at the Mennaye a season after leaving for Sixways, where he made 10 appearances for Warriors.
"I'm excited to make a return to Cornwall and to be part of a young and talented squad," Andrew said.
"Hopefully, with the experience gained it will be of benefit and stand me in good stead, and I'm already very much looking forward to the season ahead."
Cornwall-born Andrew began his career at Mounts Bay in 2007 before joining the Pirates a year later.
He was part of the Pirates side that won the 2010 British and Irish Cup and played against Worcester in the 2011 Championship play-off final.
"As they say once a Pirate always a Pirate," said the club's director of rugby Ian Davies.
"When the opportunity came to re-sign Paul the both of us jumped at the chance. Paul was a standout player for us when he went to Worcester and now he is returning with Premiership experience, his signing will add greatly to the squad."
