Following his side's 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win over Liverpool, Aston Villa's Jack Grealish tweeted: "We're the famous Aston Villa and we're going to Wembley!"
Team-mate and Villa keeper Shay Given celebrates his 39th birthday on Monday and described the win as the "best birthday present in the world".
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli went on Instagram to bemoan his disallowed goal, but congratulated Villa on reaching the final and added: "Head up, we are Liverpool and YNWA especially when we lose."
Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb was thrilled with their win at Newcastle, tweeting: "Great performance by all the lads, let's keep going! Congrats to my boy Harry Kane for his 30th goal."
And striker Kane wrote: "Wow, buzzing to get to 30 goals for the season! Most importantly though was the three points. Great team performance!"
