Rutherford fails to qualify on 'bad day'

Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford says it is "amazing how different a year can be" after failing to qualify for the final at the World Championships in Moscow.

Rutherford came into the championships having only recently recovered from a hamstring injury and "gave it absolutely everything" but his best effort of 7.87m was not good enough to reach the final.

The Briton recorded a distance of 8.31m to win gold at London 2012.
