Farah victim of witch-hunt - Cram

BBC athletics commentator Steve Cram says he believes there is a 'witch-hunt' against Britain's double Olympic champion Mo Farah.

Speaking to Gabby Logan, following Farah's statement issued in response to doping allegations made against his coach Alberto Salazar in a BBC documentary, former 1500m world champion Cram stated: "It has begun to look like a bit of a witch-hunt against Mo."

European 800m silver medallist Michael Rimmer, who has himself missed two drugs tests in the past, admitted the responsibility does rest with the athlete. The middle distance runner said: "It's my job to make sure I am there, but there is human error and it does happen at times."

The BBC documentary made no suggestion that Farah had been involved in doping, while Salazar also denies the claims levelled against him.
